My heart belongs to Iceland… so I spent my Birthday in there in 2014. Gosh, two years already… I try to go there every year, winter or summer! Both seasons are magical in their own way. So here is a little video I made during my solo-road-trip in Iceland!

SÓLEY – Icelandic Herbs
While my last stay in Iceland, I discovered Sóley. At our first hotel, I was like – “Ohhh, this soap looks amazing!” You all know, I’m a sucker for good product design. At the next hotel, I went under the shower – there it was a again. This well designed bottle, smelling soooo good. After the third time I saw Sóley at the hotels and restaurants in Iceland, I got curious. Who is behind this brand and what is it about? So I checked their website.
CHRISTMAS IN ICELAND
My grandmother and I went to Iceland over Christmas – I wanted to show her the home of my heart. So we hopped on a plane with Icelandair and spent one week in Iceland. Some of you followed the trip already via Instagram, but there a few thing I wanna tell.
HELLO 2016
So, it’s 2016. 🙂 I’m not a person of new years resolutions or setting goals. The only thing I can say is that I need to travel a lot, since there is a huuuuge wanderlust inside myself. Always has been. There’s so much to discover on our planet and I wanna see it all! While I was scrolling down my Instagram feed this morning, I stumbled over this quote from the movie “Cloud Atlas” and thought, that’s perfect. Paired with my favorite photo, I took on my last trip to Iceland a couple of weeks ago, it’ll be my inspiration / goal / whatever-you-wanna-call-it for 2016! “Travel far enough, you meet yourself.” Hell yeah! Hope you guys still follow my adventures in 2016 – thanks for all the love!
WHAT TO PACK FOR ICELAND
So next Friday I’m off to Iceland again. This time, for the first time, with my grandmother. We decided (maybe more I, than we…) to spent Christmas in my second home. Since it’s always just us two to celebrate, the plan was made really quick. Flights booked, hotels booked and now we just hope for the best possible weather conditions. 🙂 In Iceland you’ll never know, what the weather will be, so it’s a bit exciting. Hopefully there’s no storm coming up, like some weeks ago – because we want to take a little trip down the south coast. Anyway, this is a little (helpful) packing list, if you wanna go to Iceland during winter:
