namuk – Outdoor Clothing for Kids

Well – you all know, we love to be outdoor and enjoy nature. So it’s pretty important that our little ones are dressed to play outdoor, without any limitation. Crawling and bouldering up rocks, playing in mud and building little fairy homes – without thinking about the clothing. Which means layers, but not too many – because children are moving and too many layers would be exhausting. So high quality underwear and a not too thick, but warm jacket is a must. And for the trousers – they just need to be unbreakable. 😉 Continue reading “namuk – Outdoor Clothing for Kids”

The New Osprey Poco Plus Child Carrier

We are already a fan of the Osprey child carrier series – so here is a little feature of their brand new child Poco Plus carrier! The most thing I love about the Osprey child carriers – they are so so easy to handle and super quick to adjust! My husband is way taller than me, so when you want to change the carrier from a tall to a small person, there is only one quick handle and you are done! Also so many nice and handy pockets – one has a little mirror in it, so you easily check on the little one…  If you wanna the carrier in Iceland, follow this link (it’s the older model). Around Iceland – Hiking with Osprey

For hiking in Iceland we were super excited to test the Osprey carrier! My Grandpa carried me in one of those up the mountains when I was a child – so we just had to do same with our little one. And she liked it very much! What can I say? The Osprey carrier is super comfy, has extra space for lunch or rain clothing and even a little mirror, which you can use to see what your child is doing. Or for making fun! Since Iceland I used the carrier for hikes, but also little walks, where I was alone – means no extra person with an extra backpack! Totally works, so much space and I think a big bonus is, that you can adjust the length of the backpack with one move for small people to big ones. So this one we will use quite often! 😉

BUX – outdoor play trousers without plastic

When we booked the ferry to Iceland I started to think about what to pack for the baby girl. She started to crawl – everywhere, so we definitely needed some mud pants! There are a lot of mud pants, but the only one I found, not using some rubber material, was this one – called BUX*. Cute dungarees for playing outside, made out of organic cotton. Plus it looks and feels super nice! The baby could move without any limitations. I’m pretty sure the BUX will be very long in our life. Very, very long! Just got her onto the waiting list for the local forest kindergarden. 😉 Fingers crossed!  Continue reading “BUX – outdoor play trousers without plastic”
