This place was one of our highlights in Western Australia. West Cape Howe! Such an amazing place and 4×4 wonderland. Those steep, steep cliffs and nobody there… perfect for wandering around and enjoying some loneliness. The camp we slept is also highly recommended – Continue reading “WA – West Cape Howe”

WA – Betty’s Beach
This was one amazing place to be – Betty’s Beach! It looked like a place straight out of a movie, where some people decided to leave the modern society behind and just hang there. You can even camp there – Continue reading “WA – Betty’s Beach”
WA – Denmark, Elephant & Monkey Rocks
Green Pools & Elephant Rocks – Instagram famous, but worth it! Have a look at our Western Australia movie, how amazing the Elephant Rocks look from above. Nothing to add here, a lot of tourists – but we spent some time there an it didn’t bother us. Most people come, take photos and go. 😉 Other than the canal/river in Denmark. I don’t know, if it’s called like this – but this is probably more of a secret tip. It’s super nice to spent time there and go for a swim, after or before visiting the city Denmark. Which I really liked! Another hidden highlight is Monkey Rock – but totally worth the visit… Just a little hike. Continue reading “WA – Denmark, Elephant & Monkey Rocks”
WA – Lake Jasper, Warren National Park & Yeagarup Dunes
Our next stop during our travel through a part of Western Australia was Lake Jasper (only accessible with a 4×4 car – very sandy road…), the Warren National Park and the Yeagarup Dunes (also only with a 4×4 car). The little camping area at Lake Jasper is super nice and right at the beach, plus not many people! One of my favorite spots in Western Australia is probably the Warren National Park – you all know, we loooove trees! And Continue reading “WA – Lake Jasper, Warren National Park & Yeagarup Dunes”
WA – The Margaret River Area
I’m not quite sure where the Margaret River Area starts and ends, but for this post it starts around Gracetown and ends around Hamelin Bay. At least this is where we spent most of our time in Western Australia. I could also call this post – Along Cave Road – take what you want! But let’s start with Gracetown! We stayed there on the Campground and saw the first kangoros up close! That was a really nice thing, plus the beach in Gracetown was the child friendliest one, since there was a sun protected area. We didn’t know, that this is also one of the sharkiest areas around Australia… 😉 There are so many nice beaches for surfing and the man had a lot of fun! So here are some lists & tips, if you’re planning to stay in this area: Continue reading “WA – The Margaret River Area”
