Around Iceland – Bouldering Vestrahorn & ON A Black Beach

We really wanted to go bouldering and climbing in Iceland. In our imagination we would just stop when we see some rocks and try to go bouldering. Yeah… we didn’t expect the weather to be that bad. So this was more or less the only time we went bouldering. The first spot was, close to Skaftafell, on a black beach, pretty random, but quite nice. The second spot and probably the most famous one for bouldering in Iceland was Vestrahorn. Extremely scenic, but we thought it was quite hard to find hard boulders. Nevertheless we highly recommend going there – even if you are not into bouldering – this view and this beach are something special! Around Iceland – Seyðisfjörður, Hengifoss & Another Waterfall

We started our trip in Seyðisfjörður, since we came this way with the ferry! We had two days of super sunny weather and enjoyed this little village with all its amazing art. We also ended out trip there at the right time – when the LungA Art Festival took part. We can highly recommend strolling through all parts of this village and have lunch at the Nordic Restaurant. WA – Lucky Bay

Lucky Bay – what a beach! It looks like a postcard… and felt kinda unreal. This was the most south we got on our trip and from Lucky Bay we drove back to direction Perth. But back to this beautiful beach… if you have the right car and are a little bit experienced when it come to driving on sand, you can drive on this beach! This was perfect for us, since there is no shade at all and with out baby we need shade. So we drove on the beach, popped up our roof tent and enjoyed this view! It was such a perfect day. WA – Banskia Campground & another lonely beach

Not far from the wonderful Banskia Campground – we highly recommend this place – is this pretty piece of coast! Another lonely beach… It‘ called XYX (<– I’ll insert the, when my husband is back from climbing). We just walked down and back up, because the baby girl fell asleep. WA – Lonely Golden Beach

I loooooooove those images!!! It was such a nice vibe at this lonely beach – called “Golden Beach”! We had it all to our own and walked into every corner, collected some shells and enjoyed the sound of the waves.
