We really wanted to go bouldering and climbing in Iceland. In our imagination we would just stop when we see some rocks and try to go bouldering. Yeah… we didn’t expect the weather to be that bad. So this was more or less the only time we went bouldering. The first spot was, close to Skaftafell, on a black beach, pretty random, but quite nice. The second spot and probably the most famous one for bouldering in Iceland was Vestrahorn. Extremely scenic, but we thought it was quite hard to find hard boulders. Nevertheless we highly recommend going there – even if you are not into bouldering – this view and this beach are something special!
