I’m halfway through the pregnancy and it’s still way to early to prepare the nursery, but I’m so, so impatient! I would love to start RIGHT NOW… ok, I have to admit – maybe I already started a little bit. Starting with some ideas, how the nursery could look like. And as you guys all know, we do love the forest… (ehhh – we got married in the woods!), why not having a forest themed nursery? I love dark green and all things nature/forest related. Here’s a little bit of inspiration for the nursery… I wonder how it will look like in the end, though.

Hello again – back home!
We’re back home after 3,5 weeks of amazing nature in California and Oregon. It was amazing, we started in San Francisco and met up with our friends. Then we headed to the Yosemite National Park, which was the highlight for the boy, since it’s the place to be for climbers. After that we visited Lake Tahoe and our first stop in Oregon was Crater Lake. Followed by the really amazing Toketee Falls and a lot of great hot springs. WHAT I WEAR – Lumberjack Love
If you ask me, this is the perfect (and very cliche) outfit to pose in front of a pile of felled trees. “Lumberjack Style” at its finest! 😉 Checked woolen jacket, solid boots and the destroyed hair covered under a woolen beanie. Love this outfit, since you can wear it while wandering through the woods, but also go to work like this. At least I would… I guess nothing will surprise my colleagues anyway! MY WEEKEND ACCORDING TO MY IPHONE PICTURES
Ahhhhhhh weekend! I like you so much! I love how much we did and everything is around a 1h car drive away. Skiing, wandering around in the woods, driving grandmas BMW to places we didn’t know… Yep! The area where we live is called “Allgäu” and there are so many little roads you can take and don’t know where you’ll end. So we discovered a cute, old restaurant and some nice walks in a reed.
