Lake Tahoe Area

After San Francisco and Yosemite National Park, Lake Tahoe was our next stop. And we totally fell in love with this place! This lake is just incredible, the water is so clear and the hikes around the lake are super nice! We had such a nice time hiking and exploring the area. We went to the city and ate burger at “Sno-Flake Drive-In” – super yummy! I would love to show you some images of this very american burger place, but you know, all photos are goneBut I can highly recommend this place. After that we tried to find a camping ground – BUT every single one was “Closed for season” and was about to open “in a few days”. At the end, we kinda had to camp wild 😉 – but we’re totally fine with that. So we drove to Strawberry – and found a nice place in the woods.

After one more day at Lake Tahoe (you really need to hike a long the lake!) we went to Donner Summit for climbing. We were the only people there and had a lot of fun with the cracks there. Sadly the iPhone images don’t show the “vibes”, but we really had fun! Plus the camping spot we found near to the climbing spot, next to the “Trash Boulder” was so, so nice! I took a lot of photos, since it was so photogenic… but gone. Yeah, yeah…
