We ended our journey around Iceland in Borgarfjödur Eystri – a hikers paradise. But the little town itself is nice to visit as well. Specially when you haven’t seen the puffins before, this is the place where you won’t miss them! Just drive to the little harbor outside the village and walk up a few stairs and tadaaaaa – puffins! We camped a little bit outside the village… I know, I know – wild camping is not allowed, but we just couldn’t help it, when we found the spot. Plus the only Icelandic never ending summer sunset we had – enjoyed completely in silence. Iceland I miss you already.
