The forest nursery – Part One


Here is the first part (a second part will follow) of our “Forest Nursery” room tour. Yeah! I’m quite happy with the result and it was so much fun to set up. I’m still well aware about the fact, that our girl won’t spent that much time in here, except for getting new diapers on. But I think, setting up a room for your first baby, is a really nice way to just get into the mood of become a mother. We are lucky enough, that we do have this extra room and I can’t wait to see how everything will be with our little peanut. 😉 

So here are some photos of the left side of the room, which is kinda ready. We also have one of these heating lamps, but we will hang it later. I really don’t like this thing, but friends told me it’s quite nice for the baby. If you do have any questions, let me know! I liked most of the stuff, shown in the photos below. Enjoy!

  2. Hallo Sophia, ist das eine normale Ikea-Kommode, die ihr als Wickelkommode benutzt? Ich mache mir auch schon Gedanken wie ich das Zimmer für unseren Maikäfer einrichten soll und mir gefallen die typischen Wickelkommoden nicht, ich habe jetzt aber gehört, dass die normalen nicht tief genug bzw. zu niedrig sind, um “gemütlich” zu wickeln. Wie sind deine Erfahrungen? Liebe Grüße und danke für all deine tollen Inspirationen, Anna

    1. Hey Anna,
      ja das sind die Malm Kommoden – wir haben aber dann eine Holzplatte oben, rechts und links hingemacht, also wie so ein Deckel.
      Weil die Kommoden wirklich zu “ungemütlich” zum wickeln sind, wegen der Tiefe. Ich hab so ein Wickeldings, über Amazon bestellt.
      Siehe Link “Nursing Pad” und einfach die Tiefe genommen für die Bretter. Wenn du magst, mache ich dir ein Foto. 😉 Wollte am
      Anfang wirklich kein Brett drüber, aber bin jetzt so froh. Man steht da halt echt oft dran… 😉 Liebste Grüße, Sophia
